Christmas Goodies, New Hair colour + Red Nails

I can't believe Christmas is already over... This is year i was sick, really, really sick (hence the lack of posts) and was forced to stay at home for almost 7 full days drinking nothing but tee and watching South Park non stop.

Ok so on with the post...

2 days after Christmas I broke my nails, so i started debating if I should buy artificial nails. I started watching videos on YT to see how you put them on etc. I wasn't very sure if i should try them out just because i was afraid of the consequences. But eventually i went and bought some nails from a local Beauty store. The moment i bought them I just couldn't wait to try them out!!! :D They actually turned out really nice. My opinion is that they look natural. I do my nails the same way (shape i mean) so i was really impressed.

This is what you will find in the package besides the nails: You get nail glue, a wooden stick for the cuticles, a cleansing pad and a small nail file with two sides. The only thing i don't like is that the nails are not grouped by sizes.

After you find the wright shape, put a little bit of glue on the artificial nail place it over your real nail. Hold for about 30 sec. and then chip of the little applicator.

I wanted to do French tips but I went and colored them my favorite color.

Last week right after Christmas i decided i need to refresh my hair color. I used Shwarzkopf's hair color in 800 Dark Brown (Sorry but i didn't take a pic of the box it was in). This is what my new color looks like. I am really pleased with the result! :)

It is just 1 or 2 shades darker than my true hair color.

I came across a lipstick in a shade I've been wanting for a long long time :) It is by Miss Sporty in color Strip-tease. It is too sheer for me as it turns out, but still -lovess it!

Also I bought this blush brush. It is perfect for the apples of your cheeks. The hairs are synthetic and the brush is super soft and gentle to the skin. I don't own a lot of brushes and I'm happy every time i get a new one.

Ok I know this post i getting to be a little bit longer, but bear with me please :) I want to share with you guys what i got for Christmas. Just some my favorite gifts :)

Ok so this is a real turquoise ring from the hubby for New Years. I plan on wearing it very soon. :P

I bought these booties a while back with money that my grandpa gave me for Christmas. I am absolutely in love with them. I was thinking of getting the black ones first, but i have too many black shoes. I think i made the right
decision. What do you guys think? Do you likey? :P BTW sorry but this is my only picture of the booties. Hopefully you can see them clearly and you get the idea :)

Last but not least my favorite of all!
This is a silver ring. I love big rings that make a statement. Absolutely love it!

Hopefully i didn't bore you too much :D I still have some things to share with you guys, but i will leave them for the next post. Also I want to give a shout out to a wonderful blogger- Phoebe.

Please do not hate. If you are the type of person who does not like hauls just don't read! :) And for the rest of you enjoy :)

Ok so I ordered some stuff from Avon...again (after i realized that Avon does n't test their products on animals I'm in love with them eve more!) And I got some random and cheap stuff at a local beauty store. Also I bought some presents for my folks, but they are not included in the haul even though they are also Avon products :P

From left to right: Amretto Multystick limited edition
Avon's Superscock mascara in black
Avon MagiX Face perfector SPF 20

Actually I still haven't tried it out, but I have big expectations for it. Hopefully it will turn out to be a good product.

Look at that brush!! I'm in love with this mascara. It's volumizing and makes my lashes look super long! :)

This is the "Amaretto" stick. You can use for lips, face and eyes. Lovess it! :)

Wet and Wilds Mega Shimmer in Star Struck. It smells like candy and you can use it for both face and body. I plan on mixing it in my body milk. I just love sparkling things :D

This is just some random eyeshodow I bought. But I must say I was nicely surprised. The shadows are very pigmented. I was looking for a long time for a nice black eyeshadow and i think I found a nice temporary solution. :)

Ok this pots is starting to be a bit long so I will stop here. :P

I will make a review on some of the products soon. Keep on coming back.

This is what I wore on Saturday for a night on the town with friends. My hair of course looked like crap after an hour, but my make up was flawless until the end of the night!

Just please don't mind my Nike hoodie :D

Revlon Color stay in 180 Sand Beige
Flormar Eye shadow - N044

How to | Celebrity Beauty Trademarks - Eva Mendes, Angelina Jolie and Kim Kardashian

Every single celebrity has their own beauty secrets. I am here to share some of them with you. Here are some of my favourite ladies who always look fabulous.

Eva Mendes

Trademark: Glowy skin and soft smokey eyes.

Her look actually is not that hard to achieve. First of all you need a good base, conceal if needed, and proceed with putting on your foundation and powder. The second step is to put bronzer. Remember to put it only where the sun would naturally hit you! Choose a light pink or even light orange blush and apply on the apples of your cheeks. For the smokey eye you can use any colours you would like. I suggest more earthy tones - brown, black and green.

Angelina Jolie
Trademark: Sexy Cat eye

What I like about Angelina is that she has found the look that perfectly suits her and she is sticking with it. Very clean, yet sexy, the cat eye will always be in style. And if you thought Eva's look was easy to copy then this will be a piece of pie.

For this look you will only need a few things. The key to achieving this look is perfect skin. Use any foundation that you like, but bare in mind that it has to match your skin tone perfectly.
After you have concealed any imperfections, and put on your foundation, reshape your brows. After that start working on your eyes.

First use a base or a primer, so that the liner will not smudge and will stay on longer. For those of you who wear contact lenses, as myself, it is not save to use waterproof liners. Stick with black, it is definitely more classy. Don't forget to use volumizing mascara. A personal favourite is the Avon's Super Shock Mascara- an amazing product! To finish the whole look off just add a pale blush to your cheeks and nude lipstick.

Kim Kardashian
Trademark: Can you say "smokey"?

Kim's trade is famous for her smokey eyes with a pale pink or nude lips - absolutely fabulous! Her looks are a bit more complicated to recreate but I can assure you anyone can achieve it.
Start off by concealing and putting on foundation. After you have reshaped and filled in your brows move on to the eye make up.Don't forget to prime your eyes, and then start applying the eye shadows. A number one rule in doing the smokey eye is to start from light to dark. You can use whatever colour suits you. You can even go all the way black, just remember to put some white shimmery eye shadow in the inner corner to bring light to your eyes.

A key step to achieving Kim's look is using false lashes. It is not necessary, but if you want to bring even more attention to your eyes you can give them a try. Either way you will look fabulous! After applying your eye make up, line your water line with black eye pencil to bring more depth. Finish off with a nice pink lipstick and a pale lipgloss.

Stay fabulous!

Drunk Facts of The Day | Martini baby!

I know it is a bit early, for cocktails, but still i could not resist... Enjoy :)

Martini Facts
Fact number 1: Martini glasses - The wide open brim of the cocktail glass is said to produce surface tension that brings out the bouquet of the gin and creates a nicer display of the olive garnish than a standard cocktail glass. The coned shape also keeps the ingredients of the drink from separating. While these facts may be true, many people believe that martini glasses were invented during Prohibition, where the wide mouth of the glass made it easier to quickly dispose of the illegal alcohol during a police raid.

Fact number 2: By one widely accepted account, the martini is a descendant of the Martinez, an older, sweeter, but similar cocktail, which consists of (approximately) two ounces of sweet vermouth, one ounce gin (specifically, Old Tom gin, a sweetened variant), two dashes maraschino cherry liquid, and one dash bitters, shaken with ice, strained, and served with a twist of lemon. The Martinez purportedly originated in California in the 1870's, probably either in San Francisco or in the town of Martinez. Some versions of this account are more specific, crediting the Martinez to Jerry Thomas, a famous and influential bartender working the Occidental Hotel in San Francisco in the late 1850s or 1860s.

Fact number 3: The martini was an established American cocktail at the beginning of the 20th Century, but did not attain its pre-eminent status as the classic cocktail until later in the century. Perhaps paradoxically, Prohibition did a great deal to elevate the martini's stature.

Fact number 4: The classic martini of yore was stirred, "so as not to bruise the gin. "W Somerset Maugham declared that "Martinis should always be stirred, not shaken, so that the molecules lie sensuously one on top of the other," while James Bond from the Ian Fleming novels ordered his "shaken, not stirred", a drink properly called a Bradford.
